Took these out in a proper downpour and stayed completely dry—the 3L fabric really does its job without making that crinkly noise I hate. The wide cut is perfect for layering over thicker pants and the fly closure feels secure and easy to use. Exactly what I needed for wet-weather hikes.

Knee pleats make these surprisingly easy to move in, even when I'm scrambling over rocks in the rain. The wide cut drapes nicely over my boots and the fabric stays silent the whole time.
