I’ve worn this through two solid downpours and stayed completely dry, the coated zip holding up perfectly even in heavy rain. The hood’s drawstring actually lets me cinch it tight enough that it doesn’t flap around, which is rare for me. Matte finish looks sharp too, not like a typical shiny shell.
