The rolltop actually cinches down small on light days, which I didn't expect from a bag this size. The separate laptop case is the real win though — my 14" slides in with the charger and still has room for a notebook.

I've been biking to campus all semester and this setup finally solved my messy bag situation. The laptop case slides in separately so my 14" stays protected and I'm not digging around for it between classes.

The rolltop opening makes it so easy to stuff in a jacket or gym clothes when I'm heading to class, and I love that the laptop case clips right in so nothing shifts around. My 14" MacBook fits snugly and the whole bundle feels sturdy enough for daily abuse.
