Alta Puffervotter

Wore these shoveling for two hours in 20-degree wind and my fingers never went numb, which honestly surprised me for how light they feel. The ribbed cuffs sit snug under my jacket sleeve so no snow sneaks in. They look sleek enough to wear into town too, not bulky like my old pair.

The ribbed cuffs seal out the cold so well that I stopped feeling that familiar draft down my sleeves, which is usually my biggest mittens pet peeve. Sleek enough to wear on the bus without looking like I’m off to a ski lodge.

The ribbed cuffs actually stay put over my jacket sleeves, which is the main reason I switched from gloves. Only gripe is that my fingers run a little warm on milder days, but for real cold mornings these are solid.
