Wore this through a solid hour of rain and stayed completely dry underneath. The long cut with the placket keeps the wind off my legs in a way my shorter jackets never did.

The length hits right at mid-thigh on me, and that placket front keeps the wind from sneaking in where I least expect it. Minimal cut means it layers over a hoodie without feeling bulky, which is exactly what I wanted for those grey drizzle days.

I've worn it through three downpours now and the placket keeps the wind from sneaking in at the chest — no damp shirt underneath, which is rare for me in a rain jacket. The longer cut also means I don't have to yank it down every time I crouch to tie a shoe.
