Packs down small enough to shove in a jacket pocket, which saved me on a surprise downpour last week. The wide cut works fine over shorts, though it flaps a bit in strong wind.

Packed these for a soggy weekend trip and they kept my jeans completely dry underneath. Only gripe is the waist runs a bit loose so I had to cinch it tight. The wide legs fit fine over boots.
